Of Pulp and Paper:
Selections from the Community Papermaking Studio

Thursday, July 23rd through Wednesday, September 23rd
An online exhibition on Artsy

Launched in 2018, the Community Papermaking Studio is a membership-based studio and incubator for artistic experimentation. All members are trained on professional papermaking equipment, giving them the opportunity to explore creative techniques independently. Between the making of the pulp and the final works exhibited here, members have pushed, pulled, and manipulated their papermaking fibers and wet-studio processes in unique ways to further develop their own artistic practice in papermaking.

Participating community members include Jessie Henson, Jason Urban and Leslie Mutchler, Nina Meledandri, Saul Melman, Susan Shaw, and John Wittenberg. This online exhibition will run from Thursday, July 23rd through Wednesday, September 23, 2020.

This exhibition is organized by Dieu Donné with the generous support of the New York Community Trust.
