Serena Trizzino
Executive Director
Serena Trizzino (she/her) previously served as a member of Dieu Donné’s Board of Directors for more than two years. In 2005, she established her own art advisory firm, Serena Trizzino Contemporary Art Advisory, through which she has built private collections and supported artists in the advancement of their careers. She has curated numerous exhibitions, and as an advisory board member of other non-profit organizations, she has contributed to public art projects.
ELIANA BLECHMAN
Director of Curatorial Affairs and Partnerships
Eliana Blechman (she/her) is a curator and arts worker. She first joined Dieu Donné as the inaugural Archive & Collection Fellow, where she developed a deep appreciation and enthusiasm for the art of hand papermaking. Previously, Eliana worked as Associate Curator at TEI Art-in-Buildings, Curatorial Associate at AC Institute, and Project Coordinator at CITYarts, Inc. She also maintains an independent curatorial practice. Eliana received her MA in Art History from Hunter College, holds an Advanced Certificate in Curatorial Studies from Hunter College, and received her BA as a double major in Art History and History from New York University.

Katharine DeLamater
Studio Collaborator
Katharine DeLamater (she/her) received her MFA from the University of Iowa Center for the Book in 2020. An Iowa Arts fellowship recipient, Katharine worked as a research assistant to Timothy Barrett at the Oakdale Paper Research Facility. After first learning about hand paper making at Mount Holyoke College, Katharine began working with Dieu Donné as a studio intern in 2014. Katharine returned to Dieu Donné with support from the University of Iowa Graduate College (2018) and again in 2020 as a West Bay View Fellowship recipient. Outside of the studio, she has scholarly interests in collaborative art practices and pedagogy in the book arts. Her writing on authorship and collaboration was first published by Hand Papermaking Magazine. Katharine maintains her own artistic practice which includes papermaking, letterpress printing, and experimental bookbinding. Her artists books are held in the special collections of Kenyon College, The Bainbridge Museum of Art, as well as private collections.

Tatiana Ginsberg
Director of Artistic Projects and Master Collaborator
Tatiana Ginsberg (she/her) studied papermaking and book arts at the University of Iowa Center for the Book and received her MFA from the University of California, Santa Barbara. In between she spent two years in Japan researching naturally dyed papers under a Fulbright grant. Returning to the U.S. she taught papermaking, printmaking, book arts, and drawing in universities for more than a decade. As Director of Artistic Projects and Master Collaborator at Dieu Donné she works with other artists to make new work in handmade paper. She also edits the series Papermaker’s Tears: Essays on the Art and Craft of Paper for The Legacy Press. Her own work combines traditional and contemporary methods of papermaking and is exhibited nationally and internationally.

Amy Jacobs
Senior Director of Artistic Projects and Master Collaborator
Amy Jacobs (she/her) received her MFA in Interdisciplinary Book and Paper Arts from Columbia College Chicago and studied for two years at Penland School of Craft as part of the Core Fellowship Program. Currently the Senior Director of Artistic Projects and Master Collaborator, she has been part of the Dieu Donné studio team since 2010. She has taught and led workshops at institutions including Yale University, the Museum of Modern Art, the New York Public Library, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and the University of Georgia Studies Abroad Program in Cortona, Italy. Using a textile-based exploration of imagery, her own work embraces traditional and experimental papermaking techniques, as well as book arts and installation.

Emma Hill
Facility and Administrative Manager
Emma Hill (she/her) received a BFA in Interdisciplinary Sculpture from the Maryland Institute College of Art. She has experience working within community-centered galleries, fabrication studios, and non-profit art organizations.

Hannah Katz
Grants and Education Manager
Hannah Katz (she/her) has worked as a grant writer in the arts, healthcare, and workforce development. She has over ten years’ experience in teaching as an academic tutor and teaching artist. She serves on the advisory board of Intertwine Arts and as a founding member of the Visionary Committee at Lighthouse Guild International. She received a BFA in Fiber from the Maryland Institute College of Art and was awarded an Emerging Artist Award of Excellence from the VSA Office of the Kennedy Center in 2018.
Tejan Rahim
Registrar
Tejan Rahim (he/him) received a BA from Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University. He has previous experience working at both for-profit galleries and non-profit arts organizations, and he began his work at Dieu Donné as an Administration & Collections Care intern in 2022.
John Shorb
Strategic Advisor
John Shorb (he/him) is an artist and currently serves as Strategic Advisor to Dieu Donné. He was previously the Executive Director at Dieu Donné and has worked for non-profits for the past 20 years, specializing in organizational strategy and culture. He first took an introductory class years ago at Dieu Donné, experiencing the expertise and excitement of the studio first-hand. John is also an artist, having completed residencies at Blue Mountain Center and Penland School of Craft. He brings a love for the creative process.
Paul Wong
Artistic Director Emeritus
Paul Wong (he/him) was the Artistic Director from 1978 to 2017, guiding and assisting over 1,000 artists and collaborating one-on-one with 400 artists such as Lesley Dill, Jim Hodges, and Do Ho Suh, among many others. Paul was the recipient of the Joan Mitchell Foundation Painters and Sculptures Grant in recognition of his work as an individual artist. He uses the papermaking process that he developed at Dieu Donné in his own work to create major installations and works in paper for exhibitions at institutions such as the Plains Museum, Fargo, and the Neuberger Museum of Art, Purchase College, State University of New York.
MARGOT BRIDGES
Studio Assistant
Margot Bridges (she/her) is currently a Studio Assistant at Dieu Donné. She began as a studio intern in late 2021. She received her BA in Printmaking from Pratt Institute. She has a keen interest in technique, skill and collaboration, yet is not enamoured by producing her own work, rather helping others fulfill their vision.
