Visiting Dieu Donné

Gallery Viewings:
Visits to the Dieu Donné gallery can be requested on weekdays between the hours of 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Dieu Donné is not open on the weekends. Upon confirmation of visit, you will be sent an entry pass to enter the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Please note we require 2-3 business days notice and schedule as availability allows.
Private Studio Tours:
In order to respect the privacy of working artists, private studio tours are not typically available in order to respect the privacy of working artists.
Group Studio Tours:
Schools and institutions may schedule in-depth educational tours. Click here for more details.
Additionally, Dieu Donné offers Open Houses. These evening events provide an opportunity for artists, students, and art enthusiasts to explore our professional papermaking studios, view artwork and didactics from our archive, engage with peers, and learn from inspiring talks. Each evening will include a tour of the Dieu Donné facilities and a talk from a featured artist or curator. Learn more here.
COVID-19 Policy Update
As of December 15, 2021, Dieu Donné requires all artists, interns, instructors, staff, and visitors to be fully vaccinated before coming to our studios. We recommend the use of face masks while in the studios, and ask that every person affirm that they are free of covid symptoms at our front door. Thank you for helping us ensure the health and safety of all our artists and staff!

How to scan QR code at turnstile on Adelphi St. & Flushing Ave.
Dieu Donné is located within the Brooklyn Navy Yard in Building 3, Suite 602. The Navy Yard has multiple entrances and buildings are not numbered consecutively so please follow the directions below.
Use this Google Maps GPS link to find our exact location in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Do not route to "63 Flushing Ave"—this will take you to the wrong building.
Visitor Pass QR Code Instructions:
Scan your QR code visitor pass at the turnstile on Adelphi St & Flushing Ave or display your pass at one of the security gates.
Enter Building 3 on the south side of the building and take a passenger elevator (do not use a freight elevator) to the sixth floor and follow signs to Dieu Donné.
Important Note: Building 3 has an active loading dock around the ground floor. Please be mindful and aware of your surroundings.

Picks up near York St (F train) and High St (A/C train) with direct service to the Navy Yard. The shuttle is free to use with Brooklyn Navy Yard pass. Get off at the Market Street stop for short walk to Dieu Donné. Click here for live service map.

Route to 115 Flushing Ave—this will drop you off directly across the street from Dieu Donné in Building 3.

Parking
Parking is available only if your BNY visitor pass includes it. Parking is limited within the BNY. We recommend parking only in marked lots behind Building 5 or Building 77, detailed on the map above.
Do not park directly in front of Dieu Donné’s Building 3. It is an active loading dock and vehicles parked for over 20 minutes are subject to fines and barnacles. -
